I decided to lab chroma today and holy shit he is fucking wierd under the hood stat wise

Like apparently for 4 the energy upkeep cost isn't affected by efficiency, it's affected by duration, with only the 50 energy up front cost being affected by efficiency

#

But then 1s upkeep cost is affected by both efficiency and duration

#

Vex armor works pretty much as labeled on the tin, but then stuff gets really fucky with the elemental wards

#

Like the constant is all their damage potential is affected by powerstrength

#

For status chance everything except fire gets their status chance buffed by strength, and fire only gets 10% base chance, while ice/electricity get 25% and toxin gets 50% for some reason.

#

Prolly the weirdest one tho is toxin cause the way toxin ward scales is really weird

#

The reload speed buff isn't affected by strength, its affected by duration, and even then ots wierd cause its a base 135% reload speed buff, but with 254% duration it only goes up to 188% reload?

Then there's the fact toxin gives a base dmg buff no one talks about on weapon switch, but it's like a default 35% so even with 300% power strength it gets up to like 100% ish

All I'm gonna say is I hate those bird sentient bozos with the waist canisters you have to shoot before you can properly damage them

If boreal didn't summon 9 of those in the fight and make me deal with them it prolly would've gone from a 20 minute ordeal to a 10 minute one

Then again good news is apparently you can cheese the mother cluckers by hitting them with a heavy melee attack, cause apparently you can bypass the canister resistance by lifting them with a heavy melee (although I think it's a bug, cause instead of getting lifted they drop like rocks to the ground and lay there)

Don't worry you'll get a better roll if you keep at it. Generally the idea with rivens if you don't want to go insane is get a riven that replaced a mod you already have equipped Plus More.

If it gives as much crit chance as a crit chance mod you're using but also gives fire rate or an element, sick! That sort of thing
