#Looking for someone to help me learn

Hi, good to have you here. It is very fun! The character channels are always a good place to ask about character-specific things, and more general questions you can get answers for from whoever's around in #gg-strive-discussions normally. I'm also happy to answer any questions you might have as best I can.
thank you! im getting off for the night, but that's good to know
update: I have decided to main millia for the time being, lol
i do, haha
i made it a really bad habit in other fighting games
i would always try to open interactions with a jump
well, millia has some really good air mobility. two airdashes, Kapel, turbofall are all really nice
yeah, i havent gotten used to using the turbofall yet
as in
i havent used it in actual matches
(on purpose)
mmm, it got some love this patch- you can steal the corner with it. Do you know the general idea of what you want to do with your discs and knockdowns?
um
a little?
ik that you can use h disc to trap get ups and stuff
and you can use k disc as a combo finisher
thats about the extent of my knowledge
right. You've got S disc as a blockstring finisher for 2k->2D to make that safe, that was a buff this patch so millia can actually be safe on that string. That's really good because landing 2D lets you get H disc to trap wakeup like you say. You can get a similar thing from ground throw as well. From there you can mix people up with sameside/other side JH with your airdashes, or just land and do a 2k. If you get the hang of setting these up properly and have a few options you can combo from usefully you can become incredibly hard to stop once you get your first knockdown.
Doesn't have to be fancy to start with, just a couple options you can expand on later
yeah
ive been trying to do most of that
i should probably learn a couple combos too
idk any, lol
mmm, if you can learn one that leads back into H disc so you can loop your mix you'll be golden for now. The people in #millias-tonsorium will know where to start
