Talk about Lore, trivia, memes, Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom and past games, pretty much anything Legend of Zelda related.

So I've never played a Zelda game before and I played like 3 hours of Breath of the Wild last night.

I spent most of that three hours cutting grass with the beginning Axe

the games are pretty great in general,botw is VERY different from the previous games

but is absolutely super fun

fair warning if you look up lore

@rustic wagon and I really like the Link's Awakening remake on Switch. Lol may be one day when I'm in a vg playing mood again I may consider finishing it.

A Link to the Past on SNES is forever my jam though. It's on SNES online and also the SNES classic if you have one.

Yeah no paraglider for me yet. Have absolutely no clue how to get the last orb I need. So I decided I just wanted to smack enemies with a tree branch

A Link to the Past is the only LoZ game I've played. I loved it tho. I own Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask too, but I'm not a big fan of the N64 these days

I try to do a run through at least once a year (lol since the early 90s!). Highly recommend the 3DS sequel Link Between Worlds as well. I have access to the N64 ones via emulator but just never got into them either. So ridiculously ol skool. Tbh when the N64 came out, I went PS1 for the jrpgs and fgs.

Also long time no see Jubba I've kinda given up vgs so I've been just lurking these days

Yeah, I personally don't think the 64 aged well. I was never a huge fan back then either. Like you, I was more into PlayStation. But a lot of people say Ocarina of Time is one of the best games ever made.

it's also the first zelda game for a LOT of people,plus the jump to 3D

they do have a bias toward it as well

my favorite is minish cap for exemple...and it absolutely is my first zelda

and part of the reason why I like a link tot he past so much is because it's basically a much bigger size version of that type of zelda that also have a similar feel to it

According to my switch I have 9 hours of playtime on Breath of the Wild.

I finally got this and can now get that damn Paraglider and get out of the starting area
