i have like 48 hours on it, and even after getting to the final boss, i only uncovered like 19% of the game has to offer.

i'd say the biggest issue really is how punishing it is to die in this game, its no baby "rougelite" where when you die, u carry over some progress.

You play as Gail, a kid who goes on a quest to find the adults from her village after they all get kidnapped by aliens.

As far as gameplay goes, it’s a platforming action adventure game that sits somewhere between Zelda II and an immersive sim. While the plot is structured pretty linearly, a surprising amount of game can be opened up through clever play, and the tools available to you often have some surprising uses.

The writing and aesthetics come together to create a uniquely joyful experience, and the gameplay is fantastic as well. The difficulty can be unforgiving at times, but the game has a pretty wide array of accessibility settings that alleviate a lot of potential frustrations. Overall, it’s a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it.

It just crafted a new one by cracking open some other planets and maybe a star or two||

I have not heard a single peep from any of you about what is happening in this game. no liveblogging, no screenshots, no reactions, nothing. my girlfriend emerges from her room every five-to-eight hours to intone "I've been skonging it too hard," grab a morsel of food, and withdraw to her chambers once more. Is everyone okay Are you having fun Is the silksong loud and beautiful and are you so very afraid.
