Initial impressions of the combat system are better than WuWa as it gives you 3 chances to counter attack (they officially call it parry)
The game actually accounts/notifies you that you can parry with basic, skill & swap

If it does hurt my Eva's CB uptime I can a patch fix ready anyhow. No matter what, Messenger buff or not Aha is 134 SPD+ so I'm at least good there

The ✅ I like is:
- Engaging combat
- Vibrant colors
- Good atmo contrast b/w comedic slice of life & persona-like supernatural suspense
- I like the vehicle aspect of traversal & mini-games
The ❌ I didn't like is:
- The amalgamated multi-genre gameplay + gacha aspect makes it feel bland, directionless & 5/10 engaging
- Parts of traversal can be slower vs other games that have fast travel all the time or smaller maps
- Transition/gap between vehicle and chara traversal flow is a lot more noticeable
- Continues the gacha Info dump/overload/blurr (ex. lore, functions & gameplay) and a bit worse because of the multi-game genre aspect
- Feels like open world ZZZ than a refreshing/new I.P.

Side note about the combat.
Stamina is generous in this game, dodge windows are also generous. Combat focuses on quick swap, team comps that can mix their elements.
You can't air dodge despite how this game seems like you should be able to. I felt after the introduction to parry, the parry window is generous but I feel is countered with visually being quick (i.e. the prompt was so quick that I thought it was a dodge and not a parry)
