In Magia Exedra, Mabayu's skill is to give a character extra turns with an attack buff. All buffs in the game are turn limited and that includes shields that block damage, which all defender class characters provide. So when Mabayu's in use your defender i.e. Sayaka is going to be less effective for your main attacker i.e. Homura. If this is actually intentional it's a good piece of story-gameplay synergy given Sayaka's and Mabayu's rocky relationship in Scene 0.

From the looks of things we've got:
Rossi, who's a Physical Sword Guard, and Tangtang, who's a Cryo Gun Caster

So, they're going over the character kits on the reveal stream
Tangtang seems to be an AoE damage dealer & support Hybrid that has Cryo Inflictions on her Battle Skill, a bit of Crowd Control on her ult, a massive amount of AoE in general and has a conditional Arts Susceptibiltiy debuff. Overall, pretty good I feel.

She's a Phyiscal Crit-focused Damage dealer that can consume Arts Infliction stacks to deal more damage. She also has a lot of conditionals, multiple stages to her Battle Skill and Combo Skill, and a timing mechanic on her Combo Skill. TL;DR, pair her with Wulfgard and a Vuln Consumer and go brrrrr
