extremely simple kits

She's still somewhat vulnerable to powercreep against slow bosses that require certain states to trigger

they've been doing this for a while now

teambuilding and gathering artifacts is much more boring in Wuwa

every character has one good gear set and plain out worse ones

there's nothing like hunter set when you're pairing a character with Furina

and every limited character gets one BIS when they drop

to be frank with you

if you genuinely like Wuwa

there's like 90% chance that something you liked is handled better in PGR

comparing both of them gives you very good example for understanding indie game vs AAA development philosophies

PGR is niche and actively tries to be more generous on top of having a very different tone than any other gacha, its kinda baffling actually how the story is relatively grim even amongst the "post apocalyptic" gacha genre

while so many design decisions and the writing is on a "AAA gacha" mindset

its an high profile release with a decent open world to go with it so it deems itself fair that it has the same pull economy as Genshin

and story itself is very safe and self insert glazy

sorry for the rant this has been dwelling in my mind for months

and do the story to unlock the bosses

A lot of theses gachas for me are all just autopilot games

Or if you walk into the new story by accident you lock yourself out of early access💀

Wuwa also made me realize that I haven't given enough credit to Genshin on teambuilding

if a character in genshin is meta, chances are that you can use them for more than one purpose

like how Xiangling both applies Pyro close range and deals off field damage

in Wuwa every character has one way of being used

if they apply a buff while doing an outro that's all of their contribution to the team besides the damage they do while being on field

Sanhua buffs basic attacks and if you don't want to use a character that doesn't rely on basics she's useless

because elements are just damage type a and b

The teams id use were just straight up strong arm teams when id play and didn’t care for the elemental reactions or team building so going into to wuwa and zzz if I can be a dog and not care then imma do that everytime aslong as I keep my buffs up

I can’t really go back to genshin cuz the gameplay feels way too heavy for me

Genshin doesn't really prepare you to use elemental reactions imo
