Generally, for DPS units, you want a 1:2 Crit Ratio. So, for example, since you have 60% Crit Rate you'd want ~120% Crit Damage (including combat-only buffs)

From what I've been able to tell, there's no specific pieces (like boots, hats, arms, etc.) and any single relic can go in any of the 6 slots, meaning you can get a 4pc and a 2pc bonus pretty easily

The system itself I think it's fine, it just needs to have more to it. For example, a way to change/choose/manipulate substats, or a way to combine relics to make more ideal ones. It's fine as a core system, but it just needs more things to interact with it.

because, if someone is able to make perfect (or near-perfect) relics from what you've proposed
then the same problem occurs (of there being nothing to do)

Generally, you want ~4k Attack at max level, so aim for around 3k-3.5k at level 70, and you don't need to go beyond 121 speed in most cases.

Well, to my knowledge, this is the 2nd game of this type that released after Genshin. The first one was Tower of Fantasy, and that one went to utter shit due to poor developers

As for things like the artstyle and direction, those are a fair bit different as Genshin has an overall brighter and cartoony aesthetic
The main difference are the combat mechanics, since Genshin's reliant upon it's elemental reactions system, while Wuthering Waves has overall more complex and involved combat systems while also having a couple of it's own gimmicks.
From an outside perspective though, I can see why you'd think they'd be very similar
