What are append skills? and are they worth investing in?

they usually aren't worth investing in if you aren't sure whether you need them or not

usually, if you want an append skill, it'll be append 2

since it makes getting your first NP much easier

but it is by no means mandatory for normal gameplay

append 1 is good for solo servants

and append 3 is totally useless 99% of the time
