tbh, I don't really like the bashing of game journalist all that much, majority of the journalists might be really into games since the age of 6 and take their jobs really seriously but even one of them can make a bad take and/or review a game in a genre they're unfamiliar with, in turn leading them to making a subpar review of a game, and that will cause people to take that example and assume that game journalists as a whole is untrustworthy or bad at their job when the issue might be with their management or something(they're a business after all, they can't just review games they want to all the time)
