its really just a skill that helps with all my weapons
i am surprised at how good aelucanth armor can be
crit eye level 3 on a single piece of armor is kinda crazy

this will give me focus, evade extender, and quick sheathe 3
alongside enough slots to get a good level of crit eye
and also 2 levels of charge master which isnt as necessary but its good for longsword and greatsword

Id Definitely reccomend evade adjacent skills and or redirection if you can
Also the roll cancels are off iirc
Like I think you can cancel all the animations faster by rolling back
But the other ones are hyper specific
Pretty much all of them can be cancelled into skill swap tho which is why I reccomend redirection
Oh and you can cancel into silkbinds
The sheathe is a good option if you can't manage getting evade skills in
(rise genuinely has way less I frames on your base roll so evade window is a nice skill, lvl 3 gets you to the old window, lvl 5 is basically like old evade +1 from everything pre World)
Another cool part is how much you can customize the moveset
Via skills
You can run redirection 1 basically just having a parry that reduces damage and lets you stand your ground against moves (needing anti stun/status effect skills to beat out stuff like stun/sleep/para)
Or you can run redirection 2 and use it as a big I frame button that restores wirebug gauge while you're at it, enabling more bug heavy strats
Redirection 2 also adding a auto back evade on activation which also is moddable with evade window/evasion reliant skills/even extender, which can vastly alter its use case
Redirection 2 with no EE/EE1 is a counter offensive option, whilst EE2/3 is purely more defensive as it gets you the hell out of dodge
And that's before considered other switch skills synergy
Adamant charge slash plus backslide /TCS is hella underrated and stupid fun when you get the hang of it
Hunting edge plus rage slash to enable you to essentially launch yourself into the monster, then land and autocorrect where you wanna put your big charge slash is a huge upgrade (genuinely the 360° aim of rage is why I like it more than TCS in this game)

That's a wild statement to make. I personally feel like palamutes are much better
The palamutes were more responsive, could attack, and didn't redirect you into a monster's attack when you call them. The only thing I see going for the seikret is the auto tracking, and I still hate it as it gets rid of the motivation I have to explore
