Kinda disappointed in the beta. I’m playing it on the Xbox series S, and outside of cutscenes it does not look good. The environment blends together too much, my Hunter’s skin tone looks way too dark with the hood when it didn’t look like that at all in the character customization
I don’t like how charge blade feels, I haven’t played charge blade in World but it definitely doesn’t feel as good as Rise did. I’ve only fought Chatacabra but there’s a lot of monsters that seem to be in the same size range
I also don’t like how they added dialogue trees, feels like it’s trying to be the Witcher when that’s not what I play monster hunter for, and I know there aren’t going to be branching story paths
I get part of the issue is my expectations are influenced by rise, and my console just isn’t strong enough for the game, but still not a good fit. I’ll try it a little more, but not expecting massive changes

Yeah, I definitely agree on the visuals being very muddy and blending all together. It may very well just be the desert, but almost everything's a dull brown or yellow that bleeds into everything else. Compared to World, it definitely doesn't look as colourful.
The dialogue choices are definitely odd, but I feel like it's a way of adding more to the story, as that definitely seems to be more of a focus in Wilds.
As for the Seikret, you can just set it to auto mode and it does everything for you so you don't need to interact with the controls at all.

It’s literally just ride to one monster across a blank brown desert, kick its ass, ride to the next monster across another blank brown desert, kick its ass, repeat
There’s no variety or difference in the areas to keep in interesting, save for a few caves which are also kinda boring looking
Even in classic MH, fighting diff monsters on the same map, some would chill in caves, or in the open areas, or in hot areas. They’d get tired and run to diff areas to get food based on what they eat, or run deeper into the map’s cave systems as you fight them
Here they just show up wherever, and when they get tired they just run off 100 feet away in a random direction
Some have a slight inclination to spawn or run to certain areas, but it doesn’t matter cuz you can hop on seikret and trail them, so you don’t need to know the monster’s tendencies
It may as well be one big arena fight
