So when is the recommended level to hunt Deviljo in World? I got it as quickly as I could (just unlocked the elder's recess and hunted a Dodogama) and then went after it (used the wrong element type because the Odogaron rod was my only Blue sharpness glaive)

Should I just build up until I have an armor set with high dragon resistance? I'm already planning on getting the high rank Kadachi glaive, just need to hunt it hunt it

but, this is very important

you can only survive Eschaton if you've passed his elemental threshold

the handler will say something like "you're doing a good job of suppressing Alatreon's elemental power"

when that happens

So I gotta break the horns

you have to hit Alatreon with an elemental weapon

and deal enough elemental damage

his front legs are the best spot to hit

tenderize those and swing at them

leaping wide slash is GS' best elemental move

you need to break his horns after he transforms into dragon element

when he does the big red explosion

but you don't have to bother with that for Dawn's Triumph

he has less health than a Great Jagras

so you can just kill him before he can even fire off multiple Eschatons

or even one

the best mantles to bring for you would probably be Ghillie and Temporal

Temporal to survive or tenderize in scary spots

and Ghillie to bring him down when he flies

you can put it on when he starts flying

and he'll come down to look for you

which ends his flying phase

Health Booster is a waste of a slot

for every monster

which is why getting Frostfang's weapon is important

you probably want ice attack 6 as well

Velkhana's armor set is very good for the fight

if you can get the 4 piece bonus

you can run a 5th piece with ice attack

you should work on not carting to any of Alatreon's attacks besides Eschaton

For the bird aspect looking at the non-bladed parts of it's arms makes it look like a chicken wing, if you ignore the air sacks and eyes the head shape is fairly avian imo, and honestly the largest part of the bird imagery is that the male headgear and the hammer resemble a plague doctor mask, which always bird like

The interesting thing about it is that on it's face Rompo looks demonstrably bug-like, but if you look closer at certain aspects you notice aspects that could be viewed as bird-like (which is likely the curse of having the proto-chicken body)
