It's like valor in terms of general idea (nerfed moveset until gauge full) once gauge full it incorporates mechanics from frontiers extreme styles into the moveset

So say for great sword you'd get both in are strong charge, and the dash swing, and the parry

Nah cause like, part of Extremes power is it's sheer defensive utility, running with the weapon out, weapons gain counters and iframes, and then you tack the Valor sheathe onto that, with the gauge that allows you to enhance your offensive ability

If we get another gen styled game I'd Personally love a new hyper offense style or smth where it trades defensive ability for more offensive abilities in the base moveset

Mainly cause I had a really sick idea for a possible GS moveset rework that kinda needs to dump the ability to guard to make it work

Ok so imagine surge slash GS

But instead of R being to block, R is to do a charge attack

And mid combo you can start to charge, and depending on when you do it, you get a stronger charge move (standing or after attack 1 is normal charge, after 2 is strong, after 3 is TCS)

But then since charge is on R now we have both face buttons open for mid charge options

So A is tackle, X is the valor dash swing, and X+A is akin to a strongarm stance parry, which on successful parry let's you go into a smaller version of 3 of the GU GS hunter arts (X+A is groundslash, X is moonbreaker, and A is lions maw, with the buff lasting for a few seconds)

Its prolly us up there with extreme style for being conceptually nutty

But I had this idea and it's too cool to not mention

Personally I'm a huge fan of its feel, cause it has enough weight to feel big, while also being decently quick. It rewards patience and knowing your openings with good damage, but punishes you for overextending with its long animations leaving you out to dry if you get greedy (also the fact that you actually have to think about using its super armor on the level 3 A attack is interesting, cause it gets almost zero Damage reduction)

The best part is GS uniquely gets a way to extend the sprint by waiting to start the charge until the end of the run, almost doubling it's effective range
