I actually agree but.
You just sit down with a little video of a character you like and specifically do what that player is doing. They’re like 90% stronger than the playerbase already. You learn that and you osmosis their strength

There are a lot of moves, but most are useless in most situations. Just find a combo that does a good amount of damage and practice it. Eventually, you'll find yourself able to do portions of that combo off any launcher. It sounds overwhelming, but it does just come to you if you practice.
