I saw an article estimating it costs around 250k for Tekken to have their announcement during the show.

You don't drop 250K to announce a Tekken character we all know is coming eventually. (Marduk, AK, Julia, Anna, etc)

Imo you drop 250k to announce a guest character for a fighting game that would get non fighting game people buy T8 and the season pass. And get that 250k back and then some.
