  1. Stand block is the preferred way to block. Mids hit crouch block.

  2. The fastest moves are 10 frame jabs.

  3. If you're looking for a specific archetype, King and Nina (imo) are the two best grapplers for example.

  4. Some characters like Paul, Nina, Mishimas (Kaz, Reina Jin and Devil Jin) have a special crouching dash that has a hadoken input. Paul and Nina even have a tatsu input special back sway. Each attack button does something different

  5. Watch your replays, even the ones you lose. If you block a punishable move and don't punish, the game will show you one one string to punish it. Or if you land a launcher but don't follow up, the game will show you a basic combo
