If that's the case you will keep switching endlessly because you will never be pleased. Shit happens characters get fucked over. Even losing certain interactions in neutral can be death in this game as I'm sure you know. That's not really a "character" issue though, just will have to work this out personally so you can streamline the gameplan a bit
I do understand that many of the characters on your team have different gameplans, but realistically if you know how to just "play KOF" you can ease your mind a bit from having to worry about everything so frantically

Yeah sometimes using that back charge run special can get Leona smacked right in the face. Maybe @grim talon can help you out with her I don't really use her like that. And the Whip seems to work out well for you
Yama is like another one where it's like, control the space until you're just close to them and blow them up
