That’s interesting to hear because imo, the slowness of her normals requires a decent understanding of neutral imo. I know the game says she’s easy but imo I’d put Ken, Cammy, Ryu and Jamie above her in terms of beginner characters

Lily has a pretty basic gameplan and her attacks do strong damage but yeah you can’t be mashing with her. I wouldn’t consider Jamie beginner friendly. Maybe not cammy either. Ryu and Ken yes. If I’m introducing sf6 to someone new who likes to mash, I’d let them play Marisa

I only say those characters are beginner friendly because they have good 4F normals and fairly standard combos. With Lily if a player isn’t threatening her cmd grab a huge chunk of her game plan goes out the window. Just my opinion of course

Put it like this, I think when I go to learn another character this week it will be fairly straightforward
