Since I think there isn't much of a safe jump from a CD unless in the corner. So I'm not confident with Haohmaru, with Whip and Shingo getting a hard knockdown I know it's gotta possible. And Joe, I was thinking maybe if it doesn't work I'd probably just have to press a different button

The best way to test safe jumps is to record reversal throw and 4F invul DP

If it’s a real safe jump and you’ve timed it correctly you’ll catch the start up of their close heavy for a punish and if not you’ll get thrown

And if it hits the throw but you don't have enough time to block the 4 frame reversal it might just be a 7-5 frame safe jump

Idk if it's the optimal one, but it's a good hard knockdown combo.
I know there are setups with the unblockable after that, and some safe jumps
But I actually have no idea how to do those

I tend to just go for dmg all the time, since you can just 624B and close in again after it

So, Angel actually is kind of a freestyle combo char, meaning almost every Angel I played had different combos, and since you like labbing, you will probably find yours soon enough

For me, I've been doing:
Midscreen bnb
Cl. D, 6B, 214C, 2B, 8A, 6A+B, 66A
After that, you can either 624A for meterless ender
Or you can 426BD, 8B, 66C, 624B

I find spending here 90% of the time worth it, since the combo already gives you back like 0.4 bar
Meaning you're actually spending here almost nothing for quite a lot more dmg

A bit harder, but more optimal
You can do:
Cl. D, 6B, 214C, 2B, 8A, 6A+B, 426B, 8B, 66C, 624B
Side switches and a bit more meterless dmg
I find it harder tho and I'm only now trying to get it consistent
Most of my life I just used the first one

Her supers are SHIT
Spending a whole bar for this little more dmg is only worth it for a kill imo
If not, it's better to end it with an Ex, for the hard knockdown or even meterless

I usually do:
Cl. D, 6B, 214C, 2B, 8A, 6A+B, 66A, 46B, 8B, 66C
If you wanna spend a bit, or feel like you're close to the corner but not really there, you can:
46B, 6B, 426BD, 8B, 66C

After that, you can either cancel the 66C into supers and get the dmg
But I usually wait for the wall splat and press 5D, 426B for the side switch reset

If you go for the reset, there's a few options
You can either:

• Go for the low combo with:
  2B, 2A, 46B, 6B, 236C(?)
  I think it's 236C, the grab ender
  2B, 2A, 46BD, 6A, 66A and redo the wall splat reset

• Go for the cmd grab if you think they'll roll, so:
  426A, 46B, 6B, 426BD, 8B, 66C and another wall splat reset

• Go for the neutral jump
  Some people here know grabs beat the combos and my cmd grab, so they try to grab me
  If you just hold up after the reset, you'll jump their Cl. Heavy and be able to full punish with a j. D into full combo again

Then again, these are my personal Go To's
There obviously are better and more optimal ones, but those are the ones I got consistent

If you watch Bala, he likes to go for the 66D(?) ender
The one you did on second combo, for the hard knockdown
That lets him go for the safe jump setups, or overhead/low meaty mix ups, or whatever he feels like

Another thing to take into consideration

Angel j. A, 2D air target combo is amazing
Optimal damage, and will catch A LOT of people who block the j. A and then proceed to block low, being hit by the 2D part of it, allowing you to full combo after it

If they start blocking high both hits, you can mix it up by doing just j. A into 2B, 2A combo
