About the league
Idk if I really understand exactly how it works, but I feel like it'd a good idea to boost activity in the server and as a fun thing to do in the sideways.

So first of all
How exactly would it work?
What I understand about a league is mostly what my father told me when I was a kid, still about soccer.
All the teams play against each other, winner gets 3 points, loser 0, and if they have a draw, both get 1 point.
End of the season, when every team has played every team, the 4 with most points get a promotion and the 4 with the least get a demotion.

But I feel like smt of the sort would need some tweaks to work here for us.

If there's something our last tourney taught us, is that some people are just almost never on at the same time
Tiago and Smoke, I think were on almost every day, but in different times, so they took almost a month if not more to be able to play each other.
I know some people here play mostly on the weekends, while I am never home on the weekends
And there is also the ducking, which is fine. I don't think anyone should be forced to play against someone they don't want to. I already accepted I'll only fight Smoke again when I'm actually in NA with y'all

Also, going back to that thing about the newbies not really being that included, and the lack of newbies in our server, I'd like to know opinions about Mac's idea.
What if, instead of gaining just 1 point for beating one of the killers, you got like 3 or 5 points?
That way newbies would have a fair chance at accumulating more points than some of the people here who are unlikely to ever lose
I just don't know how to categorize people, since I kinda feel like skill levels nowadays are very different from each other, and I don't really want to say smt like Daru is worth 5 points, Zero is 4, and I'm 3
Also have some problems with who exactly are the killers, mid and newbies nowadays

Cuz if it's cumulative, then what if I decide not to play Kof for a week or two?
People will get like 30 points that will be SUPER hard for me to get back and have a chance at winning
Plus, what if someone new enters the server and like everyone already has 400 points?
I think resetting all points to 0 eventually would be a good solution
I feel like weekly would be too much and monthly too little
So maybe once every 2 weeks?

Whatever the issue though, Oli is very happy that he stepped away. Might be permanent, might not be, either way it seems like he's happy with his decision.

The conflict is an endurance match - the new kids on the block like to play and want to get better, that's natural. There is no easy introduction to cheesing players with whatever strat, I call Luna out on her shit all the time but the issue is me not being proactive on committing to the stops I have found are successful.

But mfers will cheese all day and if it's not going to be in a casual setting here where we can at least talk about it, then all it does is develop a poor relationship with the game/character/fighting games, which is a poorer outcome

These forums are often used by the KOF crew, so I'd be surprised if they weren't shared with the newbies. I'm not always around to welcome new people because IRL, but I am hoping newbies are being welcomed and shown these different tools for discussion.
