UI on computer with screen 2560x1440 going BAD on 1.25% and can't get it good | Project Castaway | Page 1

Today I started a new game.
When I wanted to test the new UI I put it to 125% but now I can't play anymore 🙁
Look how the startscreen is (this is the press any key and after pressing any key)
And where you see the axe was after clicking on 1.25%...
Now I have no Idea how to fix it... tried to put my monitor rate higher and lower, but it stays sooooo very big...

Any suggestions how to fix?
Can I reset the settings before playing any way?

You can change m_GlobalUIScaling to 1.0

Oh I see what you mean now, no I was not aware of this, will check it. I do some string -> float parsing, it must be going wrong. What's your system language?

Identified a potential issue @umbral raven

I was using float.Parse without CultureInfo.InvariantCulture

Do you mind if I share a build for you to try and confirm it's fixed?

I'll send a zip file containing the game's executable, just try to reproduce the issue like you would on the retail version; if you can't reproduce it's good to go

Here's a build to test the UI scaling fix. Only the main menu scene is included, going into a game (new or loading a save file) won't work

Please check the different scales on the main menu and let me know if you get the issue; if the issue is no longer present, the fix is good to go
