So I just come from other survival games. they all have different approaches to highlight items lying around in the bushes which are not easy to see.
in this game you just have NOTHING!
can there be at least a scan option (key) to see items lying around in the jungle or highlight them better? i hate it to search 5min for the coconut which drops when killing a palm. (or bananas or all the palm leafs)

This is an accessibility feature that most survival games have. Would love to see it. Maybe not a scan ability like the OP said, but an option in the menu to highlight items nearby.

In fairness i don’t want this game to hold our hand too much. Part of the allure is having to do a bit of the work or at least that is what i am enjoying.
It feels similar to the learning curve in Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey.
