Actually speed buffs from talent tree are the same for Cynthia and Max. 24% + 2% travel speed buff from skills and + skin for cynthia vs 25% for max. Cynthia also gets another +30% travel speed triggered by counter attacks. So overall i'd say cynthia with the skin is slightly faster depending on the situation.

I feel like in a 5v5 to the death, the better beasts probably win.
In most situations that arent that or garrison/rally, i still feel like workshop probably wins.

The glaring thing here though is the armaments- assuming identical hero lineups and hones, the better arm guy might take it. Except for the beasts and it being fight to death where the beasts will really amp up trades a few cycles into it.

well, not all honings are the same, some people like to add some speed, some want all combat. All beasts don't go together as well as others, same with chips. Synergy between the beasts, chips, heroes, can all be factors. I've beaten a lot of way bigger players than me in the arena. Also hit a few i thought for sure I'd win against and didn't.
