I think first blow to the playerbase was the healbot removal, personally i quitted the game for some time bcause the pvp events were becoming unplayable. Agreed. The theme and foundation of the game mode was solid, along with the availability to obtain rewards, and some features like i mentioned such as the exchange portion. I just think they executed on the design of the game mode poorly. This is all a valid criticism. I understand what they were going for with the energy system, but it makes achieving... anything, really, more difficult especially if you're a smaller alliance relying on just a few stronger players to carry you. I also think the movement could've used some upgrade, the amount of times I tried to change my destination while marching only to be set full tile back...
I wonder if they will rework the event and bring it back eventually, or if the 2 rounds were all we're gonna get.

I do, and I enjoy the game for what it is - we're a more casual alliance playing in Fearless so there's usually very few huge players. But damn, when all I can field is 1 semi-competent squad and run into people whose 4th, 5th is stronger than my 1st... It hurts

Absolutely. I enjoy being a menace in the field with my 3.5M power Sophie, even though I'm well aware I'd be cooked in higher tiers. Down here, there's still enough people who don't really know how to play properly, so you'll see Norahs and Maxines in the field every now and then

Alliance, and the entire game really, for me is mostly about the people. We have some skilled fighters, but no whales and most people are pretty casual. A lot of them are good friends though. They're the main reason I'm still playing those bastards

squad damage reduction = damage reduction for all types of squads

same applies to any stat

For matching in events has anyone every trying seeing if the system uses averages. Like is it better to have exactly 50 people with a higher average or 60 people with a much lower average? Not sure if that makes sense

Could be whale consolidation. Could be shrinking participation pool and it's just a lot of old whale/mature accounts still playing
