In IR, matchmaking is finished 1h before the event and you can check it out by searching different Gs, like G1, G2, G3 and so on
This has been the case for quite a while and its its only for IR

yes, there are some payment processors that do the adjustments automatically. i dont think IGG does this, in line with industry best practices. the big publishers usually have the payment processor detect if someone is using a VPN to take advantage of the foreign exchange arbitrage. but IGG hasn't really invested in its infrastructure, so i doubt they'd spend extra money just for that

I would suggest getting refinery packs, the weekly one and the monthly one if you haven't
With those you can potentially get decent equipment that you can use and/or sell for more gold than you spent

There are also few pass and subscriptions that are worth buying
Like the super monthly pass and privilege subscription in mall as well as radar station pass

Auto gathering survivor is also worth getting, it isn't that cheap but very good to have
Dont need it max it, still very decent with just 3-4 auto gathers
Will help with rss unless you have many farms

Apart from those should consider get the Vehicles and armaments packs in special promos weekly packs
Also cheap shelter skins 500-2000 gold that appear during some events

If everyone in the alliance buys 3 merchant packs inside the dice event, that will give 3 dices to everyone
With 180 members thats 540 free dices for everyone
So your looking at over 700 dices to use
With those you can get many superb arm frags, stuff for upgrading vehicles and ton of speed ups

Only way to get the rare beasts is through wasteland exploration event, either killing gaia deers in the metropolis and get 1-2 pieces per kill or ranking in the top 20 spending about 9k gems on stamina preferably playing alone with no team.

I mean getting them without paying. You can use your credit card in biohazard frenzy and buy these 100$ packs with the bio-stabilizers

They did promise that it would have participant selection some time, but they have promised a lot of things they seem to have forgotten about.
