Hello,

We have an alliance that was created about two years ago by a single player. This alliance has only one member – the leader (R5). There are no other members. The alliance is set to “application only,” but since there is no one else inside, there is nobody who can accept new applications.

The original leader cannot log in anymore because he completely forgot which device, app, or account was used. He tried to log in via Google, but he cannot restore his password either (the phone was changed and no recovery options are available).

Because of this, all standard mechanics fail:
• Normally, if the R5 is inactive for 48 hours, leadership is transferred to an active R4 or the strongest active member.
• But here there are no R4 or other members at all.

So leadership cannot be transferred, and the alliance is permanently locked with closed entry.

Questions:
1. Why is there no mechanic to automatically remove “application only” status if the leader is inactive for more than 48 hours?
2. How can this problem be solved in our case?
3. Is it possible for support to reset the alliance settings or transfer leadership so the alliance does not remain permanently closed?

issue with this is alot of teams build forts in dead alliances to protect gates etc, if it opened like this these buildings would become useless not only useless but actually more of a risk than anything

This is not really a problem if the player is active. An active player would never be unlocked.
But if the leader is inactive for years, then what is the point of keeping such a fort locked? That is not a feature, it’s basically a bug in the system.

I already contacted support, but so far they told me they cannot do anything with such accounts.

The core problem is not about taking someone’s forts.
The real issue is that when the R5 is inactive and the alliance is closed, if he is the only member, there is no solution at all to access it. It just hangs there as dead weight — first, it clutters the database, and second, it creates useless “trash” alliances.

Sooner or later the developers will have to address this. As I understand it, the developers don’t really care what happens here; they just push their own ideas and randomly pick what to add to the game from player requests. If I’m wrong, please correct me.

I don't really know what the new beginning game is like, but it's mostly just clicking on the stuff it tells you to click on at first, then leveling up the shelter until it requires other buildings to level up first, then you level up those.

Use your gems to get VIP to level 6 so you can have two build slots to save time doing that, and join an active alliance to get assistance with the construction

Its kinda abuse of the system.spenders coming together..you are accumulating carbon not through your own skill but rather through stacking of spending, similar how people in a spending alliance have access to the alliance chest rewards 2x a day while normal alliances be lucky to get it once a week

Game becomes infinitely easier but a lot less exciting if you are in a spender alliance your efforts are not as recognized or account as valued if you didn't earn it by your self
