Dark Seal was the best event. I was surprised when they canceled it, but it was a region vs region event before everything became cross region.

I miss the first AR with the GIANT map that took you 30 minutes to march from one side of the map to the other. But everyone complained about the march times to reach a battle and the map was reduced to about 1/3 the initial size

It has same awful matchmaking as other island events, there were times I remember when I was in iLaw our 7b rating region would face like Rok who had like 13-14b rating at the time

In my opinion Dark Seal is on the same level as GW if not worse in terms of gameplay
Most of people would just sit in zone 2 and farm for duration of the event

so the people with tokens are people that have participated in an event in the past a loooong time ago and IGG exchanged the old tokens for new. But normally for these skins there's random pop up events that are account based and you pay a couple hundred dollars for these skins

as of how to get new "tokens", probably IGG will release some sort of new events that equates to spending several hundred dollars for the same skin

You get use to it. If you play right you shouldn’t get burned. And sometimes it’s worth getting burned for the points. Back then TC and Dark Seal were tied together. So killing solders got you TC points as well.

The reason that I liked Dark seal is because it’s the only event where the entire region worked together (at least if your region is well organized). Back then I was only 30 million might and remember fighting along side the big whales for points. Really, I fell in love with DLS because of a Dark seal event. A buddy and I needed points so we ported over to a grouping of enemy shelters running hive rallies. There was a good mixture of whales and small 30 mil shelters like me. We decided we would get their attention and go down fighting for the points. But it was going to be a fight we were guaranteed to lose. I flew over and attacked their hive rally. They all chased and I flew back to my territory a short distance away for the territory buff. We scouted to let them know where we were located and all the enemy shelters started porting over next to use. I still remember the anxious feeling I used to to get just before taking my lumps from a strong enemy account. Well, just as we started fighting our alliance leader messaged us saying the whales in the region were watching our ridiculous actions . I said that’s fine, and a second later two of them fly in and I was like watching real life Superman fly out of the sky. These two accounts took on everyone we were provoking and absolutely obliterated them. Didn’t say a word to us and flew away. I didn’t get burned, but I also didn’t get my points! 😆 . Before then I hadn’t seen anything like that in my 5-6 months of playing this game. I was hooked after that. Started spending, opened multiple accounts. I went down the rabbit hole. All because of Dark Seal. I still miss that event.
