Unfortunately there is a lot of marketing behind these new heroes released. They are usually slightly better than the existing ones so that players are motivated to invest $ and time on them. Daryll is slightly better than Helena. Wolt better than Adut. Sophie better than Julia etc.

Personally i was convinced by a friend of mine in 59E to give up my investment on Helena and go for Daryll instead. I guess thats why they bring in a new system to further upgrade older heroes that are now obsolete by the new ones. Its gonna be endless grinding

For Boyd If the skills are all 100% accurate as they seem he will be busted on field

High single target dmg that increases as you get low
30% faster rage
3 Ways to gain shield, 2 of shields are pretty big
Absorbed dmg from the shields will be converted into dmg
Gives up to 105% infantry atk which is huge, and has 35% skill dmg and 10% squad dmg on top of it

The only only issue is that he doesnt have trv speed, once you enter battle with him you most likely wont be able to get out

After that the only time I would expect to see mega whales migrate randomly to a different region is to flex their smol epeens by being the "saviour" whatever that means
