It happens, for whatever reason the game requires an absolute stable connection with zero network issues to actually load the game..

I'm constantly being disconnected when my works isp is having issues, when I use data and I have a weak signal it disconnects me as well.

Ethernet cable just means a better connection to your router, doesn't necessarily mean your provider isn't experiencing some sort of issue.

But yes, id wait a while and try again, also see if you can use someone else's connection that has a different internet provider than yours. If it works then it's whoever your provider is that's having an issue.
