The only case train troops brings more points than speedups for the time needed is for upgrading. And here only t5 to t6 is kind of relevant.

So for you it is speedup and also bring your max troop quantity to the train troop phase

That would be 30.000 Hammers / Bullets IF 300 Hammers / Bullets are enough for the First Place each Event.

You get 600 Hammers / Bullets for 99 $ so in total you need to spend 4.950 $ for 30.000 Hammers / Bullets to get 800k Gold Coins IF you get the first Place with 300 Hammers / Bullets every Event.

I just started the game a few months agoo you have to take into account the speed of which these achievements are made, the total $ per might gained so there is a formula for efficiency that is derived from total might achieved that is coorelated to total tech gained against total $ spent per might point in that time frame

so fast, cheap, quick, powerful = optimum player
