Got a suggestion. People get uneven matchups in Pompeii. So they should make something like this. When a player enters pompeii, he/she gets pre defined elements like lvl25 shelter, all lvl 60 and awakened heros. No armament equiped. Max level equipments. So everything will be same for both the parties. So player should use tactics to beat other team. This way matching won't be a issue. 4B might can play against 20B might.

If the gatherer is full it will leave the node and go back leaving the node unfinished which will cause constant posts for unfinished nodes in alliance chat. It also doesn’t recognise territory so not good in regions that aren’t peaceful. Finds the closest available I think
