You can buy gold with money and use it like money ingame.
If you want to buy something and you have enough gold, the game will ask you, if you want to buy it with gold. If you say no, you can still buy it with money.
And in pc version you can only use gold to buy things. Hope this helps.

Frankly that's anything when you think about it, people who are unhappy are always more vocal than people who are satisfied the game has made plenty of good updates to further progression and balance things out, I think things like armaments etc were inevitable just not implemented all that well originally

I think dark seal was a great event for armaments… if it makes a come back I believe it will balance things out again especially now that most t6 players are spread al throughout the game unlike before when they were mostly in the same alliances

Matching still needs work but eventually they’ll get to it. And maybe a month off for farming and training is needed again 🤣

Genesis just needs to adjust times and rewards and that’s about it in terms of the immediate issues I’ve observed, it’s still a great game… and it’s way better than it was when I started

This game is all about who has more Whales (white parts, maxed workshop, 6m heros). An alliance without whale will almost never break a garrison against a 2 whale alliance, maybe even 1. Differences are too big and becoming bigger with every update and every possibility for new whales to catch up with old ones.

The gap within T6 is now like what... like t4 to t6? Ridicolous. Might doesn't reflect strength any more (workshop/armaments should increase might much more), but is used as a signifant indicator for match making.

Honestly doomsday matchmaking isn't all that terrible compared to games I've seen before although it still blows pretty regularly I've not seen many base builders hit that often and idk if there's a reason or if it's another underlying reason

Some things give absolute stats and should give absolute might. Things increasing stats by % should increase might by the same mechanism. I feel might is missing the multiplicative effect of stats bonus given by upgrades.

Yeah fair, I imagine there should be something to improve matching, I know alot of people don't like might based matchmaking and I like it to an extent by bracketing them off in groups, it's abit odd to me though to see groups complain about fighting per say ROK and while I agree it sucks when you're a top .01% alliance it's kind've hard to blame the game to struggle to find proper pairs

I do wish they'd have a mechanic that would force like the top 5 alliances in a wz together instead of splitting them though, it's one thing that I'll never wrap my head around

Is there a better way to idle heroes than farming for resources? I have more than enough for all of them

The fights are great! but… it would be good if the rewards were better my team won all 3 levels last week and all we got at the end of it were 3 DLS tokens in each level which didn’t make up for the fact that we went against 3 teams in the final level.

In terms of times imagine logging into a game and not having an opportunity to play because you are either sleeping during the first war or are at work during the second war. The that’s what happens to a lot of players. If they could allow teams to choose times that would be great because the R5 would be able to cater to the convenience of their members.

There are many people who have left the game who do miss it and the people but there are so many issues in the game revolving around events, and the massive gap between Paying and playing. Many and i mean many of us wish the game would slow down a bit and focus more on retaining its players than the profits it makes. We do enjoy the game but some of the features brought out make it very much unrealistic to the vast majority of players. Everyone wants to win but winning comes at a high cost in every single aspect of this game now. I won’t discredit that some features have yielded outstanding results to encourage more battle. But definitely the game requires more in depth insight to make it more enjoyable.

To bring a couple things to light…

One of the BIGGEST issues has and always is Resources. To create troops, to heal troops, to supply to others. It’s awful. The time it takes to collect, to the amount you collect is one of the worst I’ve seen in a battle game which relies heavily on it.

The next is TIME: the creating of troops, the healing of troops, the technology, upgrades, events at set times (which one would thing is great, but times zones arnt accounted for).

Another is ARMS & WORKSHOP: both cost an extravagant amount of money. Arms are not 100%…it’s a gamble when you hone, a gamble when you open a loot box, etc. it’s so unknown. When first introduced the ability to obtain the higher level arms was much more simple than it is today. Today, the % yield has dropped so much that obtaining such arms becomes nearly impossible.

Workshop: while yes it’s a definite stat boost it creates such a huge gap when in a battle. To the point one can spend on a maxed workshop while another who maxed equipment, heros, and parts will be slaughtered. Practically making those features irrelevant just by one component. But also the cost and requirements to have a maxed workshop is beyond insane. To allow a person the ability to buy an infinite amount of packs to the parts to workshop was a bad game design in my opinion. Maybe not for the game owners pocket but for the players themselves.
