adut/tom is a solid squad but you are at quite low investment on both. Adut is one to continue with but i would only upgrade tom through the police station. Miya/Rai is not the best, i would continue with Miya and only upgrade raigoro through police station.
charlie i would not use in the field at all, nor edward. drop that squad.
Same with jaden and lee, drop that squad.

riven would be my choice for tc, good damage, tankiness and has shields

i would work towards running 2 infantry squads instead of 4: adut/miyamoto and robert/riven

The better Infantry hero with skill damage you have the better it will be
Miya with Tom is ok, but his skill damage is like 6k .... there are better Infantry heros who have at least 12k

"Tanks" have bad talents and they don't ditch out alot of damage because their talents produce low rage

The only good case where you could run a tank is if you want to protect Bianca and when using her you don't care about damage as much

People don't realise, especially the Infantry player ones, that skills talent tree is best

The main reason why Adut Miya are considered good is because of that talent tree and both having 12000+ skill damage

If you had multiple Infantry squad like that, you would have multiple squads that do exactly the same thing as Adut and Miya

Yeah but that heroes that give buffs or debuffs dont show is the total impact they do.
Since report only involes their own squad and what you make others stronger isnt considered.

Adut Miya kill most alone which is why their trades look better by themselves too

Adut Tom would do worse trades, but on field debuffing enemy squad with tom, making it deal less damage to multiple squads and also buffing 5 total squads is not shown on his own report.

I've fallen into this trap with chasey too, but when you compare just the kit that applies in field to other field heroes, losing those abilities actually doesn't hurt them much.
Like actually looking at victor he has above average attack and hp buffs that apply on field, average skill damage as you say, but a decent skill damage reduction too.
It's interesting sky will complain about people focusing on eddie's siege components, and you're a fellow bard field enjoyer right?
I think we all build biases against heroes and need to reevaluate them sometimes
