It is the piece of equipment in the middle. It should be the least of your worry for speed though because the speed comes from refinement and you probably don't have nano stuff.

Thunder doesn't have skill damage so your trades are worse, especially if the enemy is using a high damage rally like julia bard.
Thunder heals lightly wounded which can then be wounded again giving you more heavy wounded/deaths. So you can end up with even more wounded when your garrison falls

The new matchmaking implemented by pairing big alliances with smaller ones without whales in Island Raid just got worse.

Literally the event just turned out to be for whales. The rest of the people just sit and watch because there's nothing to do if you're not a whale.

Now the alliances' might isn't even a factor anymore to match them. 6 billions alliances in the same Archipelago with 2.5 billions alliances? Total BS....

Matchmaking was S***T and now they just destroyed it even more.

Eddie is 100% optional as infantry for a long time.
Riven is the only s+ tier you'd want, and as others have said it's still pretty feasible to get as f2p, just save between infantry cycles and unless you're in a really crazy region you're guaranteed 10 frags to unlock
