It's a mistake to get promoted.. I did the math and optimum rate is to find a rank category you can be #1 on with ease, then be top for 6 days then on the last day drop squad to 1 and rank down so you don't qualify for the promotion. You'll lose about 7k stones from the weekly reward but getting a smaller weekly reward is way better than being promoted and not being #1
