Totally get this is a more realistic take on it, I can see how a 2 day can become 1 day or 1.25 with proper distribution of squad/helps BUT people are saying they are healing full 300k free with helps with 0 speedups that is when i start to question it

It's doable with bots for sure, or diligence.
You also don't NEED to clear the hospital usually. You just need to make enough space to put more troops in there.
Ideally you end the last day with 99% hospital and get max value from the crisis aid

So most people are batch healing small batches, 1500-2500 depending on troop tier and alliance, and what healing buffs are available (up to 10% boost in IR/AR) throughout the day while on.
Then when you go offline for a longer period do like a 5 or 6k batch
And 10k ish over night

Crisis Aid can end at any moment we shouldnt be depending on it in fact it shouldnt be a thing at all i am surprised IGG didnt remove it yet

issue is you cant afford NOT to clear the hospitals because your total unit squad might requires those in the hospital most people dont have multiple squad units for example i only have 250k t5 infantry

if half of those in a hospital i cant continue to fight so I need to clear the hospital

you cant not clear the hospital if you want to keep playing tho so keeping units is not an optin

Then you have even less reason to clear it. You should be batching to keep squad topped up, and once you can't field squad, sit out until you can heal. Unless it's a make or break fight, then you use the speeds.

Let say you do some fight and it show 10k death

70% of that will be in aid station waiting to return to you

And 30% of that gone forever

And then there are aid station return rate which will return as % from the one inside

Usually will return 100% of whatever inside aid station at the end of any war event
