I'm on elite (purple) right now. Upgrading to +1 star I need 300 Carbon Steel (one piece of gear). +2 Stars requires 350 CS.

I have no clue beyond that (guessing you get an increase of 50 units of CS per color tier + star tier).

If that's the case, you'll need 1050 Carbon Steel for ONE PIECE OF GEAR to reach Legendary Tier.

To complete Legendary tier, you need 2100 CS units.

And to reach the Supreme tier, you need 700 CS units.

You'll need (if you are in purple like myself and the hypothetical increase of Carbon Steel Units): 3850 CS (more than 6 months with your antpede numbers for just one piece of Commander's gear).

The games already p2w. And they are extremely profitable. A better change would be adding in diamond gear as the next upgrade if they're looking to make more money.

problem is after this AOD update , you wont get carbon easily as whales from all the regions wont bother to lower down their defence , which previosuly they did as it helped the whole region / 2. You will never get those T2 and T3 blueprints if you are a F2P player 3. With those T3 blueprints there are miniwhales which are just at 50M and 60M might but equivalent to 80-90M , so even if you are facing someone of simmmilar might its not a big help.

Number 1 you have the wrong idea about the new AOD, that's not how it will work, secondly yes you may have those but how long will they be 50/60 million for? 1-2 weeks? And those are rare players + usually it's easy to beat them as long as you grew your account properly focusing mainly on 1 group and got purple equipment parts for the right troops

Exactly this, I only focus on infantry, adut, miya,tom,raigoro, Martin and Charlie, 4 of them are heroes you get from the police station so I only have to focus on adut and miya and this way I have 3 squads and 2 of them are good, soon I'll be moving to the 4th squad ane honestly most spenders 60-90 million aren't much different from f2p sometimes they even play dumber tbh, it's only t6s that annoy me but that's okay

You can participate in rallies only during the event such ir and ar, but no rss are able to be exchanged unless someone else is on the island from the region your base is locted. You can not build towers, reinforce ects while in the original region unless you are building your own alliance buildings ects
