we have 1st with 3 whales alliances.. 2 were competeing vs 1 and alliance with no whales was pushed from connecting to station ground so dont tell you can win without whales agains few whales alliances...

so this event is only cool if you have balanced matching where 2 alliances can make coalition vs other and coordinate but so far matching have no logic

Hopefully this helps you understand my point of view. I didn't mean to be condescending I'm just getting tired of people using the same reasoning thats almost impossible to refute because it's too oversimplified.

If you assume all the initial matchups were evenly distributed (big stretch when they're using total might), then we're assuming 50% who lose are weaker than the 50% who wins making the lower bracket pool full of weaker opponents.
The general probability of hitting a team of x might is the same for everyone.
As soon as you ask "what are MY teams chances of getting a better matchup" the probability changes.
That much should be obvious.
Because there are teams that have a 100% chance of getting a better matchup, and teams that have a 0% chance.
If we continue over simplifying all of the factors involved in strength, then there's exactly 1 of each. And a range of people in between.
There are teams in apex league that are incapable of having a fair competitive match. Their probability will be 0 no matter how you carve up the bracket.

The extremes are to illustrate the concept I'm talking about.

There are countless factors we need to ignore to do the "math" we're trying to use to hand wave away real concerns over the matching systems. I could probably write a stats paper on it.
Some of those are: what's the distribution of might in the overall bracket? How does using total might (lol) actually perform as a proxy for creating competitive matchups? How many teams are actually even matchups for each other? How many are actually such outliers it's impossible? There's other more nuanced things you could list forever.
That's not really the point.
The point is people are so intent on defending the lazy attempt at matchmaking in a game trying to label itself now as an esport by making all kinds of excuses for it, and it shuts down the valid criticisms. Of which there are many.
You get goofy platitudes like "life isn't fair" thrown at you by people who literally have no skin in the game. Better matchmaking would be a good thing for everyone.

Should I even level up troops? Seems like everytine you unlock a new level of troops people will end up upgrading their troops everytime essentially draining resources into upgrading them when those resources could be used on construction. I've played other games simular and they haven't had this feature so is it even worth upgrading them?

Upgrade when you need better troops. Train new ones if you can't fill squads and just need more troops.
Eventually you want to upgrade most of them.
It's basically a fast way of getting high tier troops, as long as you've already put the time into them

I am amazed IGG hasnt come up with a simplified solution to equal the playing field more = restrict the purchase of BP Tokens and Tower Tokens from being bought with GEMS.. that way any one who actually wants to end up with T6 has to grind for them and actually play the game

Due to this new event "Genasis" there has become a lot of glitches and bugs in the game as a whole. Not just the event, but the game itself is glitching out bad. People hate this event, obviously, this was the most worst idea for an event possibly made. I respectfully ask the creators to never run that event ever again. My entire alliance said they we are never participating in that event again. For the amount of time and money spent on that event, the rewards are literally not enough, plus the glitching while "trying to play" is really Bazar. So please, creators, never do this event ever again. Thank you for understanding.

That's one of the massive problems people keep complaining. They get unfair matchmaking when their alliance grows too big, they don't have a whale to back it up and the remaining its just farmers that barely fight

Not to mention there's some alliances with a crazy amount of control, i know some that can control their alliance to 2-4 alliance split every event just to win. not for me but a great example

They usually win more. But doesn't mean they don't lose either. But it means most of them contribute even when losing, there's a reason why a lot of 40-60 members alliance exist with huge whales. They keep winning because nobody can beat them:

• low matchmaking
• high activity
• killer stats all around.

Been playing this game for a year some of the biggest alliance win because most if not all members actually fight.

You shouldn't fear a 10B alliance with a lot of 100m players but bellow 20m kill. But you should fear a 5B alliances with a lot of players ranging 50-100m kill or worse 200m+ kills

heck give me 50 100m opponents but f2p farmers. I just need 1 or 2 mega whales to destroy them whole

So maybe that was something that changed ages ago or I dreamt it 😅
Out of interest, what level scout camp are you? Could it be that they have no troops? Presumably you've tried scouting several bases?
What info do you get if you scout a hive? (You should see the number of zombies there).

Yeah they usually ask for specific information like account creation date (can usually be found through vip age) and other info that's not hard to answer the actual important questions will be purchase receipts and they'll ask for specific dates for example maybe your first ever purchase then 3 months in the game etc etc

You can prob find these in your email if purchase receipts go there otherwise I'd look in my bank transactions

What we need is ONLY 1 to move forward not 2, because 2 of 4 moving forward allows for too much "you take it I got it" type diplomacy where the skill is on allying with another vs actually being the one who deserves to get through, diplomacy is a great skill but when you are only fighting 2 out of 4 or sometimes just 1 of the 4 because your ally got the other enemy it quickly becomes too non competitive

If 1 of 4 moved that would be a welcome change and instantly make the game more exciting raising the stakes
