Tbh alot of people saying bad stuff about the turnoment and although it wasn't perfect I was pleasantly suprised with how prepared they even were at all, I wasn't sure if I expected them to be sloppy or what, I did mention things I thought could've been cool was like having someone who could change the camera or maybe put in thr corner of the screen reactions of the teamsbwhen they won a bio zombie fight or viles

Overall I the event was done good since it was first time . igg doing it for first time thinking out of box apart from money so makes sense to fumble in some places..

Here are some of my opinions =

1. It’s impossible for IGG to cancel the event despite some of the registered players couldn’t come cuz they already spent the money on the event and to save the IGG’s face.
2. IGG should change the name of unattended players with the mercenaries’ game names instead of keeping those players’ names.
3. Those players who couldn’t come should be banned for the next competition cuz it looks unprofessional especially this is an established event whatever their reasons that made them couldn’t come.

Personally I think the event could be improved adding more strategy, the only real strategy was occasionally swarming a tower to take the enemies points

Hey all! I was wondering, how significant are the downsides of being in a top Alliance as a newer player? As far as the impact on overall growth? I'd really appreciate perspectives from endgame players.

I've heard about all the positives of course, but my friends in my current Alliance (medium-sized) have had mixed reactions to my getting an invitation to a G5+ Alliance.

Feel like I've done my research and know what to expect (been lurking here on the Discord since near the beginning of my DLS journey), but was a little surprised at the lack of support 😅

i havent had that specific experience but being invited to a stronger alliance, it can be hard to feel like you can participate/help out. like, most field fights you'll be outmatched before you even get there. but theres always ways to help out and you'll learn a lot

and youll eventually get strong enough too

If the alliance is beginner friendly and they help you and guide you through the process is nice.
That’s what we do with our baby players.
At the end it’s not just the maxed tech that makes an alliance good.

There’s always a way to lend a hand in every event even as a small player while you still grow and they can lend you a hand and advice you what to do

Also being in the middle you get better nodes 🤭🤭

The Alliance who invited me seems to have a fair amount of T3, T4, and T5 members, so I think they will be friendly and accommodating to newbies and non-whales.

A lot of my friends in game have jumped through a lot of different alliances. I have been in a few different ones just for tc but there’s nothing like the alliance I started in. Just find a community of people that make you feel comfortable and help you enjoy the game

I'm about 90 days in, 13M Might, VIP9, full T4 unlocked, 2 alts with 2 more on the way, and I like to spend a fair amount. I think my friends are worried about me just becoming a farmer (because they prefer being in the action 24/7), but I really like farming and helping my members out with resources rather than PVP at this stage 😅

That’s normal when you have t4s. When you unlock your t5s I think you’ll be much more brave.
You can still fight now, just make sure you pick your fights

I feel like I'd rather spend this part of my journey focusing on Shelter growth until I hit T5 (not that far off) and get closer to T6. Then revisit PVP in a few months. That, and I really, really like farming lol

On other games, I have manually farmed for 12 hours a day for weeks on end and not gotten bored. My friends all think I'm crazy for that haha

You would be at advantage and disadvantage, on events, it will be hard to rank in individual rankings and missed some rewards that can only be get on individual points,
most possible you’ll be a whale food. But when it comes to high activity, you will grow faster.

Anyone who has half wits in this game isn't trading deaths of soldiers and valuable healing boosts to gain a few points in the IR or AR leaderboards

Because for every soldier that dies you lose might.. means your power goes down.. for every solider that dies you have to spend time to again re train them, you have to spend resources to again retrain them, you have to spend training boosts to retrain them.. guess what ? You are spinning - making troops - losing troops- retraining - losing again.. you'll never progress at that rate any faster than someone who isn't losing a single troop at all.. think about it I been saying this for weeks finally people are catching on

Thats not going to happen that's not at all how it works.. in IR for example just to get to 8M threshold which is the first basic point score requires 200k deaths at least so you are losing a million might just to hit 8M points for which rewards aren't event close to cover the cost of lost troops

Depends on who it is- a defensive hero I would get more block, offensive ones lethality but still a good mix of block.
I personally avoid the garrison specific stuff so I can still use those armaments on the field and not feel as bad investing in them.
If you spend a lot and have a separate garrison set, the garrison specific damage like basic and counter are very good though

First of all getting that many 5x tickets takes days and days of saving its not a common thing to have enough to kill 1000 zombies each IR.. I am talking about standard IR practice to get points.. killing 1000 zombies you can do once a year in IR when you saved 2 months of 5x BUT even then it's stupid to use 5x on IT when they can be the difference in TC when zombies point matter

Adding to your might just to add to it and not fighting when team needs you to fight is really frowned upon. We regularly move people that do this into alternate alliance shells because they make the event matching for people that actually want to participate.
That said, I do think it's reasonable to have the goal of focusing on growth and sit out pvp events from time to time.
When you do that you should do it outside your main alliance shell for the most part though, or else it's a bit selfish.

When it's a really REALLY bad matchup I'll tell our members sometimes to just do their own thing and get points if they want but don't waste too much- save those troops for one we have a chance in unless you want points.

Personal IR rewards are good, but tbh it is difficult to reach the decent ones as T4, and if you can't, I actually do agree with the idea of playing it a bit conservatively if you ever want decent troop counts one day.

Make the assistant the hero you want to level. Use as many squads as you can field to hit the same zombie- they all get credit for the kill.
Martin and russel are the best for this, max their xp boost skills first, even before rage skill Imo.
And make sure you push levels on z virus as much as you can
