I HAVE been saving books, but i dont have enough to take a LEGEND hero to 60, to 50 and to 40 like the "new" guy supposedly did AND in the background have a roaster of 5 other high end heros who all happen to be top of the line roulette heros AND all perfetly sourced from TC which take weeks to rotate to the right heros, so this "new guy" has been around for weeks if not months, but sure he is NEW.. but like Panda and Ari and LaCrema said, being NEW is subjective

I have a VERY long winded question if someone doesn’t mind giving input: my first secret armory just started but my hq is only 23. The only things I have left until I can start 24 is 4 and a half days for barricade, 9 hours for oil 23, and however long trading post 23 takes, and obviously my HQ. Should I rush it to participate? Zone 3 also opens up in 2 days I believe. I have 6 days 22 hours construction speed ups, 95 days worth of generic speed ups, and 75k gems.. I’m not sure it matters but I’m also vip 9. I was going to use them for TC on Monday but I’m already working on leveling Bella who’s stuck at 50 I’ve been using all of my resources on and I have an adut at 60

I’ve also heard using gen speeds on buildings is a waste but if armory is worth more then..?

For example:
you go to T6 Infantry and it says battlefield medicine 10, energy drink 15.
You go to battlefield medicine 10 and it says encirclement 10, cushion fibre 10, common truck 10
And you go to these and so on until you have the whole tree.

Fastest way to increase your overall might, and squad/army might plus your heroes level?

I've been grinding a lot , upgrading stuff but not seeing a significant increase. The heroes part is the most annoying one , how do you even level them up? Barely get any „xp“ cards or fragments.

how come no one told us of this, i am 40 days in and no one ever talked about badges as one of the "main uses of gems" people said only VIP and roulette heros

this is what i mean about information in this game, its completely sercretive and sparadic, no one has a concise step by step guide on how to maximize gems, etc

I just discovered this on my own, one of the biggest bottlenecks to progress is the BaTTLE CENTER and its super tough requirements , which will make anyone want to progress NEED TO SPEND GEMS

There is a systematic most efficient path to spending GEMS and it used to be made up of only 3 things: VIP levels, roulette heros (appropriate troop type), VIP store 8 hr 60% speeds and THAT IS IT.. If you're f2p and low spending, that battle center will bottleneck your tech so hard.
I was very careful about how I used gems, and had a growth fund and everything.
I still got stuck on tech waiting to get enough gems for the last level of battle center.
Like I say, if you're f2p and planning on going past level 8 all squad stats and for T6, you need almost every single gem for badges without stalling tech at some point.

Hunt zombies with zombie hunter talent tree leads (Martin best, then russel), use hero you want to level as assistant. This reduces the amount of books needed by a lot.
Z virus with urgent supply is the main way to get steady xp. Can also buy all the cheap ones from mystery merchant (not vip) shop.
Memory shop sometimes has, aod if you have left over coins.
Participate in all the events that give (like back alley dr prowler rallies).

After that you join the pattern of all regions. You experienced inf/ranged/rider because you joined the pattern at 2nd part ranged. After that you got 1st part rider. Now you have 2nd part rider.

At some point you should select a fav troop on focus on their heroes. But you are at the very beginning. Best for you is, to get some TC roulette heroes (with gems), they are all good.
Other than that try to awake Peggy asap, she boosts your building speed and is great zombie hunter.
Gatherer are only good for gathering, so only this tree and only up to lvl44 (gather tree full).

The gold coin stock is for alliance leaders to stock the silver coin store, which is for all members to purchase from. You don't get outpost toolboxes often because they made them rare just to be frustrating.
