Is it just me or does this game eat money like no tommorow. Seems like a cash grab for the DEVs rather than actually giving us our moneys worth from these packs. The EXP Pack was god awful for the price. Played for 6 days and already spent £40. Its putting me off the game

Not sure on others opinions but I've never seen a mobile game give such little value per dollar, what's worse is dev has made changes in the last few months that drops the dollar value further by 40-50% compared to what you use to get for spending

I use to play Raid: Shadow legends, now don't get me wrong, alot more expensive than Doomsday, but they give you such massive rewards and, the option to purchase Tier packs. They are not over crammed with multiple different purchases types. Here's hoping they stop being greedy 🤣

It was a conversation in region chat today, now I've been ehre 6 days so I can't relate to how it use to be, but alot of long term players are quitting cos its "gone downhill" apparently with all the money grabs

Yeah, not sure on that but the dev does not care about making changes at all other than any that force you to spend more. There's so many basic changes they could make that balances out things but no they refuse. Some things like increasing TC placement frags for placements, roulette frags, reducing awaken frag requirements which take months because you need 680 per hero,increasing rewards for events which are beyond horrible, replacing random armament boxes with choice ones, dropping parts requirements which are literally $500+ per part when you get to orange and above just to name a few

Those are really the only 2 places outside of spending a lot of gems in vip shop and money.
You can get some from using hammers in the grand revival thing now too, or buy from the wasteland shop but not as good use for that currency imo

Like I'm gathering he's TRYING to say he is optimistic that the devs of this game actually care about it and the players, and that they can work in spite of the corporate side. I've seen others make that point here too, they're just coming off a little less naive to the corporate side that dictates what the devs can actually do and how they do it.

He's also saying that making this game didn't take as much effort as most other games that cost a LOT less for the value you get. You can spend over $100 on one of the biggest packs in the game and ask yourself what you got from it really, compared to other games. Even f2p games that offer skins, the most I've ever seen one cost is like $20 (which I found obscene until I played some mobile games phew boy) and those skins had a whole art studio design and create it over a long period of time with all kinds of VFX extras.

The devs (not IGG corporate business side) can very much be passionate about the game, while it requiring significantly less effort to make than other games. Not mutually exclusive.

Louis is still great, even as ranged main he works well with other heroes and his awakened AoE is unique. But as a low spender (I have also limited $) you should focus on a main troop. For me it's rider and not ranged, so I invest all my ressources into rider heroes. I did buy Louis in daily boost, but he is lvl 1 since months - would not buy him again.
Personally I buy the premium pass to get more gems and the daily silver challenge with the gun tokens (forgot the name).
