Question: 1. Does that mean deadline of 3days before event is Saturday 24.00 to remove armaments?
Question 2. If it is said that might is calculated over period of 3days before DS, does that mean if removed armaments for 2 days out of 3 days it would be calculated proportionally 2/3 of total might reduction?

Ok recent changes have reached a new low.

1. Roulette 10 frag drop rates are down - 1 player had 100 spins, another 150 spins and one more 70 spins, no 10x frags, Use to go off and spam region, now barely.
2. Armament trackers - dropped 180 for just one legendary item, last time I did this for the same numbers I got 4 or 5. 1 player dropped 250 for 0 and another 1 for 115.
3. Metal shard costs for legendary frags are up from 100 to 120.
4. Secret armoury is now a joke, got no legendary items and only 1 10x legendary, all other times there's been at least 1 item and 3-4 10x legendary frags.

Can we collectively raise a complaint about this? This is getting impossible to catch up now without dropping double or triple the cost just to get similar numbers to previous.

It seems timely there's been recent updates and suddenly noticing noticeable decreases in return rates.

I'm not sure how you could pull many legendary but not one person I've spoken to has suggested theyre getting what they use to.. Some complained in the last 2 roulettes and last secret armoury in particular getting significantly less legendary items or frags despite getting fairly consistent results for legendary prior and spending more recently.

Yeah strange, dev didn't mention the increase to metal shard costs so they're likely to sneak unpopular changes through without communication or patch notes to not upset people. Once again a ridiculous matching result for DS. In the last 3 events we have drawn DHX twice and now BOON. In each case they are over 2x our power and in the case of DHX Safeme is now more powerful than many regions on his own. Surely you can get your algorithms right. I realise it is probably so they don't have to keep fighting each other - but it's their problem - you have put on the rest of the server. For the many not the few!

The migration fiasco started all this in the 1st place. Whales moving to low power regions so they could smash the TC. You even had regions welcoming them for a short term gain even though it was to the detriment of many of their own people

They simply run a war and name it peaceful war to protect the region from whales who will immigrate, but in actual fact they all themselves are destroying that particular region by those by creating it a war zone region

Doomsday is what you put into it.. you will either enjoy or not?! I hated it for the first week, then got to jump region to an alliance where I could grow.. been playing daily for 2 months now and I enjoy it.

Biggest regret when starting though was not finishing the ark of tomorrow event, missed out on a beautiful shelter skin.. so if you do play, be sure to complete that!

Does it matter what region I go to or am in, is it like based on my actual location irl. I'm somewhat new and am trying to get the game fundamentals down.

Right now all I know is upgrade my shelter, fight zombies and farm for supplies but from the looks of it it gets more technical than that.

It definitely gets more involved, but you can always choose to play your own way.
People here are happy to answer any questions.

Your region is just whichever opened the most recently when you made your account. Currently there is over 300 regions in total, they open fairly frequently.

It doesn't really matter which region you're in- usually the best way to grow and progress is try to get into one of the top alliances of your original region and grow with them through regional progression- regonia.
Recently, immigration freedom has led to many of those regions being bulldozed by high might older/richer players, leaving no space for new people to grow and learn. If that happens to your region, the best thing is to move to an older one, like 100 or lower type thing, somewhere stable and peaceful and grow with friendly people there instead.

Games like this do that so everyone is able to start same time on a new region/server.
If less regions are released then some players will start later on a region compared to other players.
For spenders its not much of a difference because they can spend to go further in research etc, but f2p need to be able to have a frequent fresh start.
( Because a f2p who plays longer on a region will usually always be ahead than a newer f2p ).

The point of the game is to fight and you need a sense of danger sometimes, otherwise if it is always safe it will be boring, but the game has too many pvp events too often.
There needs to be more time inbetween for players to recover. There could be nice coop or Monster events while people recover.

Kris and Angela are good for gathering. Don't level them higher than 44, when the gathering tree is full.

Chainsaw girl is not worth it, if you won't spend.

Liam and shotgun dude are great for beginning until you get better heroes. Try to get roulette heroes from TC event, easy to get and really good.
And invest into Peggy, she is really useful for zombies/hives and grants +10% construction buff when awaken.

Top commander is a 6 day event every 2 weeks. There are different phases per day where you can get points e.g. for using speedups.
If you are ranked top 100 at the end you get fragments of the selected TC hero (top 15 are at least 10 frags that are needed to recruit the hero). Within this event there is also Lucky Roulette with more heroes you can get.

@leaden hamlet I would like to put in a request for all players of DLS. Many alliances are multinational. Due to thus we are on a 24hr schedule. Often it is hard to do certain things game wise. One thing many alliance members miss due to time schedules in antepede. At 12 pm russian time is American at work time and visa versa. If the antepede and other events could somehow accomidate two different times it would make a huge difference for all players and all alliances. Example. Maybe allow two set times for antepede with 12 hr rule or the ability to do two period. The ability to do more than one rally would also fix this situation we are all having. I know it may not be the biggest issues on your plate but it would make a huge difference for all of us players. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully understand the impact this would make for all players.

Once you have the luxury to make them all 25 sure, that doubles their final production.
But otherwise they just aren't worth upgrading

Yep- but even before AR is good too.
Anytime you know there's an event coming in 5-7d you can start very large batches to get a jump on the points.

The problem is you miss out on those mini training events which are almost constant, like call of duty and stuff and they actually give you a decent amount of speedups.
