You have to have the buff assigned to you before you start the research/training/building task.
So ask for the buff, then start your task. Your duration of the task will be reduced, then you can have the buff removed. You do not need to hold it, so it can be given to someone else.

Sometimes it helps to lead a horde away from the rest so you don’t get overrun. Squad attack boosts and capacity work as well in memory trip. The system advantage thing isn’t always right

Then think about why. If you have a gun you have a massive advantage against swords, but if you use the gun to hit the enemy, then the advantage is gone.

Kinda agree with you, the game balance has been completely ruined by these new changes. There will be no more beginners space for new players, I’m glad that I got that newbie experience but I feel pity for new players.

All they had to do was fix their matching algorithm. Instead they are trying every wrong way to compensate for, starting from immigration freedom

The heroes restriction was kinda fair, we get to enjoy the progresses thoroughly until that restricted hero can be obtained and the old players can also use theirs, but now? Tom and Raigoro can enjoy their early retirement

Yeah i'd be very upset if our region wasn't already just about finished the TC rotation of heroes now. I think it'd be hard to have fun sticking with the game as a new player now

It's perfectly possible to have done your tech and hero lineups efficiently and go toe to toe with people 20M might higher than you. I do it every pvp event. It gets harder and harder with all the armaments and power creep from new heroes though

Btw I also think unlocking all is a bad idea, but like the change to tc, roulette to give choice. I just think people are over reacting and thinking worse case before actually seeing how it pans out
