In dark seal event, there isn't a "participants list" so presumably my guess is you could switch alliance during this time before IR registration ends since IR participants lock after registration period. However, not too sure about the rewards part, you might miss out some or not since the rules did not state how long you need to be with the alliance to qualify for the alliance reward and assuming the individual reward will be tagged to you even if you switch alliance.

probably safest is to make the alliance switch before dark seals event start and let someone else do it for science

So, to summarize what i understand:

It looks like we will be able to invade the enemy region, and only go into their zone 3 area. we can take over their metropolis. Everyone from the region even if different Alliances, can join in Garrison of Metro. We all get a set number of special teleporters that we can use to invade another region. so you can jump back and forth between regions until you run out. Looks like you can only be robbed 5m rss and you get a shield after a certain number of attacks on the base

you have 5 squad there is some players can't fill all 5 squads with troops so they can go with one or 2 squads to fight and the other 3 can farm

so base of operations gives 160 points per minute. Is the most important building pointwise. At beginning, put some runners on the trains and as soon as train arrives, send runners to helipad and base of operations, I imagine.

yes and then garrison it and defend it from the enemy and of course you can kill zombie and the big one to get buffs
