Dark Seal is just a KE on weekend during Top Commander, so you can go and kill other regions for points instead of your own.
The real kvk is the new Island which comes later

And it will he a new map, so dont worry about protecting your checkpoints etc in your region

yea, they are gone, apparently for everyone. Not sure if they are intentional or not at this point. Yes, but you need the tickets. You can farm them by collecting alliance silver coins, which are limited per day, you need 800k for each ticket.
or you can buy them from packs, but its limited to 25 each month and that costs you a couple hundreds dollar/euro
