If two releavnt purples (like squad damage or damage reduction) you can expect buyer for 200-400

But wont sell easily.. mainly squad damage and damage reduction that sells.. and price go up by relevant pieces it further have..but dmg/dmg reduction needs to be golden, save for rare instances

You can always hope to price higher and get lucky - give it a shot. But EVERYONE says “just get the stats to gold to make big money “ but doing it either takes luck/time from your own smithing or investing more gold to get pieces to improve it. And luck that you don’t get just 0.1% improvements

And the higher end market (say the 20,000 gold range) is an even harder market to predict.

For gigawhales, DMG and DMG Red will have insanly more value than ATK and DEF, and it's not even close bu how much

ATK/DEF they get already insane amount from heroes skills, the workshop, the parts, the gear, the skins.
Squad DMG and DMG Red are from what, a few very competitive skins, ambiance, Devices armaments hones and maybe one or two other way of scaling it ?
When you have 500% of one stat and 10% of a multiplier, the math will tell you, go down to 480% and get the multiplier to 20-30% and you'll get way way more damage

How is the squad type being determined - by the heroes or by the troops? For example if I have Isabela+Doichi with Infa troops, is that considered Infa Squad and why? And if it is Infa squad i assume the Refinery Infa Squad equipment takes effect on that squad right?

The refinery equipment boosts the troop type that has it equipped. Squad type is determined by the troops. Not the hero

If you were to use Isabelle + Miya with ranged troops then the ranged refinery equipment would be active. If you use a combination then the ranged equipment will be active for the ranged troops and the infa equipment for the infa troops

People use only infa troops with infa Heroes since the skills and armament buffs often only buff that type

Ooo, that's a nice one! It's a bummer though that RNG didn't roll you gathering attributes on the equipment's basic attributes as well. But I'd imagine it would still sell quite nicely.

I already have a full set of double/triple gathering (a mix of gathering speed and bonus %'s) attributes, all with gathering basic attributes too on the equipment itself, so I'm all set for my gathering equipment. I did spend quite a bit smelting the attributes higher, but IGG made the process really dumb...when you get a 0.1% or 0.2% increase, it's really frustrating.

Yeah, the right buyer would pay nicely for this. Both squad dmg and squad dmg reduction.

The crappy part is that it's going to cost an arm & leg smelting the piece of equipment to higher number %'s, into the gold attributes number ranges. It will get costly unless you do it slowly over time scanning the AH for "better deals" and getting more lucky. Usually those attributes are listed for higher costs.

I'm a rider main and have a full set (four pieces) that have both squad dmg reduction & increased basic attack damage on each piece and it was pretty costly upping the numbers higher. I also garrison with Chasey/Rick so that's why I decided to aim for squad dmg reduction + the increased basic attack dmg. But it also helps in the field too, at the same time.

Ironically enough, all four pieces are sitting at 4% squad dmg reduction and I don't think I'll be boosting it any higher unless I find some better deals or until the market becomes more saturated pushing the squad dmg reduction prices down.

Not going to spend more than I already have dumped into it for stupid 0.1% or 0.2% increases when the 4+% equipment pieces are selling/being listed so high.

Same goes for the increased basic attack dmg at the higher end numbers. But those are sitting in the 9%'s and 10%'s right now which is pretty darn high. 10.5% is max (red) so I'm pretty content with how my set is right now.

Yes. The handling fee you only play when the item gets sold. Also a big part of the listing fee will be returned. You pay 10 gold for an item that is not sold iirc

I think this set up on purpose

For the time refinery has been out I haven't seen a single overpowered piece that contains like 3x squad dmg for example
The best ones that I saw were just
1x Squad dmg

1x Random stuff

You can spend it elsewhere in the game. You cannot spend it on stuff from the refinery. It is "linked" gold and only "unlinked" gold can be used for the refinery, specifically.

Correct. They want people spending real money to do that, which is the only way to get the "unlinked" gold.

Yeah, in that situation the best chance of getting refinery gear is using refinery proceeds to get the Refinery Contest thing with gold you get from the refinery, in hopes you get something good.

It's not so great any more though. It used to be that you could at least get the 500 gold back each week to do it again, and keep some bits for yourself.
