Idk, it depends. I mean you CAN make an inf set, but you’ll still be behind on refinery, garage and parts, not to mention armaments, just talking about the more global buffs for that specific troop. I’d just invest on bettering my 3 Primary Ranged Marches.

Yeah but building another troop type won’t solve your problem. Your infantry will be weaker than your ranged because of how far behind they are in those other categories I mentioned. So even if they live longer, they’re not performing nearly as well, and when they are targeted will melt just as fast.

That’s what I’m trying to get you to realize. You’re hyper focusing on one variable when there are a number of them that will determine the outcome

Sure armaments are decent, sure you can get garage to an “okay spot” but now that’s just 2 of the 4 stat providers for that troop type. So unless you’re ready to pump $$$ to get those others up to same place as your ranged, you’re still at a huge disadvantage

A good rule I've found for troop atk/def is 5.5+ = 200. Lower = probably no sale.

Squad atk without a troop type, however, sells for more. Not sure why though, considering it can only apply to one troop type at a time on equipment.

It will always be either specific squad damage or damage reduction, as these stats are multipliers and hardest to increase (but most noticeable).. the attack/defence are peobably good early in the game, but later when your total % buffs are 200+ those 7-8% doesnt feel as much anymore

The ultimate goal as to get all 3 relevant, like ranged squad damage + ranger attack + counter damage/attack/defence (better damage reduction of course but cant be too greedy) 😄

I've forged a piece of equipment with two specialty counter lines. Counter lines are uncommon, two are very rare. I'm having a hard time figuring out the value. Context is Range Garrision leader. What would be more useful. Two counter lines, or a range defense + range damage RED?

It is the truth believe it or not

If you had to choose a troop type on which counter dmg impacts them the most it would be Ranged and it's really simple as to why

When a squad targets someone they would lunch basic attacks and in return the opposite squad lunches counter attacks

Which troop type is the most targeted one?
We all know it's ranged
So they are the ones who deal counter attacks most of the time
By increasing counter dmg you will increase the damage that is coming from counter attacks

I had few conversations before on the matter with some people and I don't know why people seem to say that counter dmg is bad on ranged or that it isn't needed
When in reality it's not bad and it's very much needed considering how they're targeted most of time

I guess people see their highly atk and factor dmg from heros and only have in mind to further increase the value on just that that was already good before

Or you could think of it like ranged are glass cannons and die quickly so they deal less counterattacks before dying than a tanky unit that requires more basic attacks to kill

The same 5 squads that just swarmed sophie now have to swarm miyamoto and stella who will live longer and do more counter attacks and counter damage in general

Therefore buffing their counter damage has a much greater impact than buffing the sophies counter damage that died in half as many basic attacks

Because both are dmg you can't say one is good and one is bad if both are doing damage at the same pace

If Ethan had slightly less AoE but more Counter dmg, outcome would still be the same, Ethan would end up dealing more damage in both scenarios

But there are heros that specifically increase counter damage and are also durable so it makes more sense to stack percent counter damage buffs on them to multiply their already high counter damage

Like a rider that buffs basic attacks is going to pair well with more basic attack damage % buffs than a sophie.. yeah it will still add damage but youre wasting damage

Sophies damage is all in the skill attack so a skill damage buff is way more valuable.

When my ethan uses a skill attack i want the squads swarming him to insta die from 100%

And if someone stands near my shelter or a tower while its being rallied and they eat an AOE hit i want it to really hurt so my squads can camp under the tower and bait them into a skill attack with 2m squads

Yes there are heros that increase counter dmg, but it's not like squads aren't able to deal counter dmg if they don't have a hero who has counter dmg buffs

Any squads deals counter dmg as long as they are targeted, heros have nothing to do with this other than just further buff this type of damage

I think people misinterpret this fact and think that only the heros who have counter dmg buffs are able to deal counter dmg which is most commonly infantry

With refinery you can potentially make a full counter dmg set on like ranged and every ranged squad of yours will be turned into Stella pretty much
You will be giving up on squad dmg and squad dmg red buffs ofc but the point I'm trying to say is it's not bad and can't be said that it isn't needed

Sophie sure majority of her dmg is skill dmg, but what if you had counter dmg on her and you get swarmed
That counter dmg can potentially and will outweigh the skill dmg the more people target you

Don't smelt the range line anymore it provides no value. You have one range line, one infantry line, one rider line. They are incompatible. If anyone buys this, they will buy it for the Rider DMG RED line to smelt onto another piece with two or more useful rider lines.

That Rider line is probably worth 2500 - 3300 in auction.

Yes the buffs apply on all Infantry once its equipment on Infantry

The way forging works is you get alloys from refinery, there are 4 types of alloys, it takes 100 alloys to forge an equipment, the greater the alloy is the higher chance you have of forging legendary equipments

There are 4 types of equipments.. firearm, weapon, vest and mask
If you already have an equipment of 5% attack on like weapon and you wanna upgrade it to 7% you need to find 7% attack on any weapon, then what you wanna do is go to smelting on that 5% attack equipment and you will increase your attack between 5.1-7% once you consume it, to actually get 7% may require multiple smelting

I was thinking i don't get red attributes because i don't use Precious Ore in refine. But the crystals for refine just seem related to likelihood of getting better Alloy, not the actual attributes level.

If you just get basic attack buff that will only buff 1 main damage type out of 3
