Needs to do something like, 2.5% smelting with 3%. If you lucky, you gonna get 0.2%. Usually its 0.1%.

you need to have same rarity, same piece with same attribute but better value (main stats does not matter, jsut the one you try to upgrade)

say you wanted to upgrade squad load 10.1 from screenshot above ... you would need any gold helmet having one of random attributes being squad load at least 10.2.

then you open your base item, smelt on left side, mark squad load, add the other piece with load 10.2 as smelting material and execute

outcome is your base piece with upgraded stat

it wont be immediate red if you would use red smelting material - will just upgrade some

I'd say DMG reduction is a separated multiplier in the full damage equation so better than "just" another piece of ATK that'll be drown in 200-400%ATK . But that all depends on what you do and where you're at in the game

The Smelting Process needs to be reviewed and the Results drastically improved or this will diminish along with the market. First, Minimum prices of 200 gold are just dumb. Your greed is overpowering your common sense. At least lower it to your 'minimum' price of 99 gold in game (which is hardly a micro-transaction but bankruptcy is a tough mistress). Be consistent. If your cut is lower, think of how much better this is for US. The vast majority of these minimum priced gear is required by this travesty of an upgrade process - Smelting. You need a piece of gear that is BETTER than the gear you are trying to improve... Why does that make sense to you? Yes of course its other stats maybe unwanted, but you are still taking a better legendary weapon and blowing it up to IMPROVE the target weapon. That's in Caps because I have seen 0.0 improvement in the Attribute I am trying to upgrade. There needs to be a minimum improvment and you need to be transparent about the results table / chance to improve numbers. I am by no means a master crafter doing 100's of these, but I know I have 'rolled' a 0 over a dozen tries with maybe 50 tries in total. That's BS and you know it. Tragically ,the larger the potential increase, the worse result you should expect. A 3.0 attribute applied to a 1.0 attribute - either get 0.0 increase or in MOST cases a 0.1 increase even though it 'could have been' 2.0 increase. So what's the math here? What are you hiding? 200 gold spent to get a better 'primary attribute' that results in ZERO increase more often than not spells disaster for the system.

In summary - Minimum sales price to match your in game minimums for Gold - 99. Show us the math - what % chance are we getting when Smelting? What's the Chance of 0% increase? What's the chance of 100% increase? It is public on Roulette (if you believe them) - Why not here? I am guessing its well over 50% chance to get a 0 or a 0.1 increase regardless of Attribute used. Considering the fact that EVERY step of this process is seeing IGG take Some Portion of every transaction on BOTH sides should make it doubly important to be Forthright and publish this 'win table'
