During wars, no one plays on Normal Optimization. everyone switches to High, which makes characters look like dummies (as shown in the sample photo). Many players spend a lot, especially on legendary skins, but during battles they cannot even see them properly. Imagine paying hundreds of dollars for legendary skins only to be forced to lower graphics and lose all the details in battle.

If attributes only apply to the specific troop type. So for mixed squads (33% inf 33% riders and 34% ranged for instance) a squad atk on an infantry weapon would only apply to the 33% infantry troops. But how does this work for gathering bonus and skill dmg? Those seem to be related to hero stats and not the actual troop type. Would these stack? 2% skill dmg on each type would give the hero 6% skill dmg?

They would all contribute to skill damage, but they would contribute disproportionally.

If you're leading an mixed troop march with an infantry hero, who gives infantry atk and damage bonuses to infantry, then the skill damage that the 33% inf troops would contribute in the march would be a higher value than the 33% of the rider and ranged, because their atk based stats would be higher. So yes it's a "collective" 6% skill damage increase, but not all % of skill damage is calculated equally (especially in this case where it's not a SQUAD Skill DMG Increase, but a troop specific Skill DMG Increase). The conversion of atk > base damage > multiplied by skill damage would be different based on the hero type you're leading with and what stats they're contributing to.

If I understand correctly. then the 33% inf will get higher atk bonus because of the inf leader and thus their 2% skill dmg would contribute more than the 2% skill dmg from the other types. However the 2% skill dmg is still only applied on atm of 33% of the troops. This would indicate that the nett increase in skill dmg would still be 2% exactly (e.g. 2% of a big chunk and 2x 2% of smaller chunks is still 2% of all these chunks combined). I expect for gathering bonus it would also apply to what the troops of the specific type are carrying.

I'll show you the numbers to make it make full sense.

Let's say for example if you were using an all infantry troop march behind an infantry hero you were to deal 10,000 skill Damage. A 2% Skill dmg or 2% INF Skill DMG increase would net you 10,200 damage.

Now let's say you're using a mixed troop march behind an infantry hero, whose talents and skills are promoting better stats for Infantry troops, rather than ranged/rider. Well then, cumulatively, you're not going to deal 10,000 damage since 66% of the march isn't benefitting from bonus damage stats like atk and such from the hero/talents. So let's say your 33% infantry march does 3300 damage (33% of the 10000 they would have done in a full march) and your other 2 marches are dealing 50% of that damage because they're not benefitting, so 2200 damage for each other 33% subset of troops (ranged & rider). Well now you multiply 3300 damage x 0.02 (2%), 2200 x 0.02 (2%), and again 2200 x 0.02 (2%), and you get 66, 44, and 44 as the skill damage bonuses each of those troops would get from their respective 2% troop damage increases. Add that up and you get 3300 skill damage from INF+ 66 bonus skill dmg (2%), 2200 + 44 bonus skill dmg (2%) + 2200 + 44 bonus skill dmg (2%), or a new total instead of 7700 skill dmg, now of 7,854 skill dmg.

That’s a good DIY smelting piece. But it seems most smelting gains you .1-.2% increase. So slow.

Yeah just so you know you cant change a stat that you start with so that squad load can only increase from other existing squad loads

And if you have a 14% stat for instance you will basically have a random stat between the 13.7-14%

So recommended you increase them incrementally

Are you talking about Squad DMG as in like Squad Counter DMG or something up in the Basic Attributes section, but then you get a Ranged Squad DMG in the Specialized Attributes below?

Anything that just says "Squad __" will typically apply to all troop types, but for these new Equipment Pieces in the Armory we have, they only apply to whatever troop type they're equipped to. So It'll say "Squad ATK" for example, but then it'll show as "Squad ATK (Infantry)" for example when equipped to your infantry troop section.
